Job Responsibilities

• Execute test cases, file defects and reports.
• Client facing and  Good verbal and written communication.
• Design, implement, and execute test cases.
•  Evaluate testing process, make recommendations as necessary.
• Timely execution of test cases.
• Identify, and record bugs.
• Execute and improve QA processes (Define bug life cycle, release notes, sign off for UAT, and uploading it to
  production) supporting Agile/Scrum software development.
• Participate in requirement analysis, identifying risks and creation of test scenarios.
• Conducting requirement clarification and issue resolution meetings.
• Design and Execute the end-to-end test scenarios and validate results using Approved.
• Use Automation/Functional/Performance Test tools.
• Report test results and ensure that bugs are properly identified, tracked, documented and fixed.
• Provide accurate and timely status reports and project metrics to various levels of stakeholders and as
  agreed by the team lead.
• Experience with Agile (SCRUM) projects and good understanding of Agile ceremonies.
• Complete task in accordance with agreed standards, and with re-use in mind.
•  Accelerate and expand utilization of test automation.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Troubleshoot programming and functional defects throughout development iterations, as well as production
  issues.
• Perform extensive regression and performance testing.
• Writes or assists in the development of Test Conditions, Test Cases.
• Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback.
• Closely work with development team, production team and consultants.

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• Bachelor’s Engineering degree or related technical field from Tier 1 / Tier 2 college.
• Excellent analytical skills and a problem solver.
• Ability to create good quality test cases by going through business requirements / use cases.
•  Ability to execute test cases, file defects and reports.
• Ability to understand the current business requirement and the technology being used.
• Familiarity with cloud, web application.
• Experience in end-to-end testing (SDLC) on Web based apps, Software and large scale enterprise products is
  must.
• Experience with technical QA skills and ALM SQL, Installations, build process, Jenkins, etc. is must.
• Experience with Client-Server testing, including API tests is must.
• Good analytical skills & keen eye for perfection.
• Experience with Agile software delivery methods.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with Git, Pull Requests, Code Reviews advantage.
• Domain/Testing/Technical certification will be an advantage.
• Ability to multi-task, meet aggressive timelines with strong work ethics.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Knowledge of relational database (Postgres / Oracle).
• Banking / Finance domain experience.
• Knowledge of SCRUM or other Agile methodologies.
